Launched May 8 2024 @ 1557 UTC from Maple Ridge, British Columbia (CN89 - near Vancouver). Details: 32" SAG Orbs Silver balloon stretched to 101.5" Traquito tracker - 20m WSPR - 10mW - transmitting on the 0's and 2's 6V powerfilm solar panels with 5F 3V supercaps in series, shunt regulators to limit voltage to 4.8VDC. Hydrogen gas. Payload weight 20g, tape and glue on balloon added another 3.5g. Filled to 29g lift, 5.5g of free lift. A chicken was sacrificed in a special ceremony at the launch site for good luck. This was followed by a ceremonial dance to the music of Flight of the Bumblebee just prior to launch.
