This is a kit for a GNSS receiver that covers not just the United States GPS satellite network, but also the Beidou (Chinese) satellite system. It includes a sensitive active antenna with approx 2m coax cable and SMA connectors. This kit is designed as an internal module for QMX+. |
The kit comprises SMD components which are pre-soldered to the PCB during manufacture. Only the SMA connector and pin header connectors need to be soldered to the QMX+ PCB and QLG3 PCB.
The kit includes
- PCB with module soldered
- 90° SMA connector
- Magnetic mount patch antenna with 2m coax and SMA connector
- 2pcs 11mm nylon hex spacers,
- 4pcs 6mm nylon screw
- 1x5-pin male and female header connectors
Everything you need, to install the module in the QMX+ transceiver. Installation instructions are in the QMX+ assembly manual.
QLG3 can be used for other projects too, as long as you provide a regulated 3.3V supply and your application can use the unbuffered logic voltage thresholds from the GPS module.
Features:
- Supply voltage: 3.3.
- Board 0.725 x 0.7125 inches / 18.4 x 18.1 mm
- Multi GNSS satellite constellation receiver supports the following systems GPS (US), Galileo (Europe), GLONASS (Russia) and Beidou (Chinese) - giving a faster more accurate position fix.
- Supplied with included active antenna, approx 2m coax and SMA connectors.
- 2.8 logic level output is suitable for 3.3V microcontrollers
- SMD assembly already undertaken by factory facility - only SMA connector and pin headers to solder.
